Moving Stretch ® Level 2 Trainer, Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist and Reiki Level 2 Practitioner
I am a qualified Moving Stretch® Level 2 Trainer, Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist (FRCms) and a Second Degree Reiki Practitioner.
Having trained directly under Moving Stretch creator and founder Suzanne Wylde, I am passionate about sharing this ground breaking new way to stretch, which is unique and distinct from traditional stretching techniques. By providing resistance during the stretch, either by self-stretching or assisted stretching, we engage and reshape the fascia; releasing the body from pain, stiffness, and limitation. This helps to create a naturally healthy body, which is strong, flexible and fully functional. I pride myself in catering for clients’ specific needs, ranging from improving basic movements in day to day life, to enhancing sporting performance.
With a great interest in all forms of natural movement, I also trained to become a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist (FRCms) under Dr Andreo Spina, and have attended movement workshops run by the likes of Ido Portal and MovNat, as well as breathing workshops run by world renowned S&C coach Steve Maxwell, and “The Iceman” Wim Hof. Other training includes studying nutrition with the Health Science Academy and Reiki Level 2 energy work.
I offer 1-2-1 assisted stretching / walking massage / FRC sessions, teach group Moving Stretch Classes in West Sussex, and also run regular workshops and retreats.
At 84yrs old I thought there wasn’t a lot which could be done about my ‘Dowagers Hump’, dizziness and unsteadiness.
After working with David it’s hard to believe the difference it’s made.
He’s worked on my posture through stretching and I breathe more deeply, which I’m told gets more oxygen to my brain. Because of this I’m much steadier on my feet and rarely dizzy.
Everyone comments on how fit and well I look. I feel good, and so much more confident.
‘Walking Massage/Stretching’ with David is both physically and mentally beneficial. Working in a sedentary job I suffered from backache, neck ache and headaches. I also had a tendency to slouch so my posture is not good. From my first session with David I noticed dramatic differences.
I didn’t realise how important stretching was to my all round well being, although I did know I needed to become ‘more toned’. Consequently the pain I had been experiencing is now negligible, I’ve had no headaches, and feel an inch taller with an upright posture. I now understand my body better. My range of movement has improved, muscles are stronger and I’m much more flexible.
Leaving the best until last; I used to be a shallow breather, which is unusual for a singer. I now breathe correctly from my diaphragm and I feel my oxygen intake has increased dramatically as I feel I now use my lung capacity to the maximum.

Walking Massage and Assisted Resistance Stretching
After an initial consultation, I will assess your current posture and joint mobility in order to discuss your goals to work toward. I will commence with a walking massage to improve circulation throughout the body and prepare your muscles, tissue and fascia for stretching.
The pressure of the massage will vary depending on your needs and preference but is likened to a deep tissue sports massage which is an effective treatment on its own. This will allow me to investigate which areas I feel will benefit from stretching the most.
These sessions are not as tailored as I cannot cater for individual needs however they are a great way to introduce yourself to resistance stretching in a friendly, welcoming and sociable environment.
I will lead and instruct you through a stretching routine which can sometimes be challenging but very rewarding.
This is not yoga, not pilates, or like any other stretching you have tried before. Moving Stretch resistance stretching is a unique natural movement based class with amazing benefits.
These sessions are open to everyone of all abilities regardless of age. I encourage everyone to work with their own body and to pay attention to themselves in order to get the best out of the group sessions.
